Course Information
Description
This course will explore the benefits of comparing patient data to healthy reference values, focusing on ASPEKT-C parameters. Participants will learn to leverage TIMS MVP tools for accurate measurements of Time to LVC, PhAMPC, and Post-Swallow Residue, crucial for the evaluation of swallowing. The agenda includes an introduction to healthy reference values and the ASPEKT-C method, practical demonstrations using TIMS MVP, a case study example, and perspectives on ASPEKT-C from a patient's viewpoint.
Learning Outcomes
Describe the benefits of comparing quantitative measures to healthy reference values in clinical VFSS.
Define which ASPEKT-C parameters benefit from quantitative tools currently available in TIMS MVP.
Demonstrate use of TIMS MVP tools to perform ASPEKT-C measurements.
Agenda
8:00 - 8:15 Introduction to Healthy Reference Values and ASPEKT-C Method
8:15 - 8:30 Leveraging TIMS MVP for Time to LVC, PhAMPC, Post-Swallow Residue
8:30 - 8:45 Case Study Swallow Example
8:45 - 8:50 Patient Perspective on ASPEKT-C and Future Directions
